Civil Engineer

Position Description:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for the following:
Manage and technically implement, as well as provide direction, to multiple residential subdivision and commercial site development projects; establish project objectives and policies; enforce company and project policies, best practices and processes; initiate and maintain client relations, contact and communications; ensure, deliver, and maintain all project budgets, schedules, and quality standards with follow through and completion to meet and exceed client expectations. Will work across functional teams of associates: surveyors, planners, and landscape architects.

Qualifications:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for on-time, on-budget, follow through and quality completion of all assigned projects with the following essential qualifications:

Strong knowledge and expertise with site design infrastructure including: water, roads, sewer, sanitary, storm, grading, drainage, retention, utility coordination, etc., with oversight of plan production, revisions, and coordination through all project phases
Effective management of project related budget and scheduling assignments
Excellent communication skills required
5 - 10 + Years experience as a site design engineer - residential and commercial
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management
Outstanding customer and cross functional internal team leadership skills
AutoCAD 2004 expertise preferred
Proficiency with PC based Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and CRM/CPM scheduling programs

Education:
BSCE with PE License in State of Illinois
